7.4.2011  Attention - the program Q broadcast has changed again, instead of Thursday it is now FRIDAY. Around the world is going to be broadcasted for the first time on Friday April 8th at 23.20 on ČT2.

Qčko goes on a trip around the world this time.

We visited an international festival of documentary films about human rights „Jeden svět“ ("One world") and we have chosen 4 pictures form it's program which deal with the blending of politics and lives of queer people in democratic countries as well as in former dictatorships on three continents, but for example also with the stories of child sexual slaves in Afghanistan destroyed by war.

You are going to see examples from the Paraguayan family chronicle "Hundred and eight", thrilling and very personal film by the director and this year's festival winner Renate Costa.

We talked with the director of a very shocking documentary with the same title Jamie Doran about small "Afghan dancers".

With the Brazilian journalist Fabio Golg, who did a secret sociological research between the members of the American Mormon church years ago, we watched the film "8: Mormon proposal" about the influence of the church on the public opinion and politics in the US.

And Kateřina Šaldová from the Czech Amnesty International has shed some light on the situation in African countries where the accusation of homosexuality is being used by the mighty as a weapon against political opponents. And not only in Cameroon where the film "Coming out in Cameroon" was created.
